Free Internet and wi-fi Connection

The Stewart County Public Library offers Internet access and public use computers to patrons at no charge. Patrons are not required to have their library card to use the library computers. We also offer Wireless Internet for all patrons.

Word Processing

There are currently 9 public computers available to patrons that each have Microsoft Word for word processing. These are available to patrons at no charge.

Inter-library Loan

Through our Inter-library loan (ILL) program, library patrons not only have access to the Stewart County Public Library collection, they can access the resources of libraries across the state that participate in the program. This service is available to our patrons in good standing.

It can take several weeks for an Inter-library loan to arrive. Please allow at least one month for your request to be processed before the item is needed.  Items must be at least one year old to qualify for Inter-library loan.

To receive materials through Inter-library loan, simply come to the Circulation Desk when you enter the building and put in your request or call us. If you are uncertain of the title of the desired book, ask a staff member for assistance.

Fax Transmission and Receipt

You may send a fax for only $1.00* per page and receive a fax for only $.25* per page. Our fax number is 931-232-3159.

Printing

For your convenience, copies can be made here. The cost for black and white printing is $.20* per page single-sided and $.25* per page double-sided. Color printing is $.50 per page single-sided and $.75 per page double-sided. If you need assistance with the copier, please don't hesitate to ask a staff member.

Borrow ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more from your local library for free! Libby is the newer library reading app by OverDrive, loved by millions of readers worldwide. You should find this app available for free in your device’s app store. Once you have it downloaded, you will use your library card barcode to log-in.

Services for Patrons with Special Needs

Library for Accessible Books & Media (LABM) is a free library program of braille, recorded and large print materials available to residents of Tennessee who are not able to use standard print materials due to a visual or physical disability. The Tennessee Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (TLBPH) cooperates with the National Library Service: Library of Congress (NLS) to administer this free library service.
